Jo has an eye for design and enjoys creating unique pieces. Her work includes traditional and modern upholstery, chair caning, quilting and restoring antique and modern furniture bought at auction.
She holds the AMUSF diploma in Level 2 & 3 Upholstery having passed with distinction and works part time from her home studio.
Trained by Wendy Shorter, Jo graduated from her class with 2 awards. Her armchair won the stage 3 Kobe Fabrics Traditional Upholstery Competition and her mini chair won the 2015 Heico Fasteners competition.
